      What shines and what doesn't

      Amazing views of the Eiger add an lovely touch. The staff consistently go above and beyond to assist guests.

      The dining experience fell short. Breakfast options lacked quality and consistency, while the spa amenities felt limited.

      Clean and friendly staff. Close to station

      We had a junior suite with balcony. Balcony was shared which was a suprise. Description of room had said eiger views! From the room we could see about 6" !!! if you want views move further up the village.

      Absolutely fabulous. The staff was great, especially Steffen and Karol. The room offered the best view of any place I've ever stayed. Loved it!

      Simply no complaints, relaxing stay. Exceptionally comfortable hotel with courteous personnel and excellent view of the surrounding mountains. Lovely and cozy room with a good bathroom and central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV. Particularly good and unbelievable location right by Grindelwald Sports Ski School. And very close to the Centre of town and all tourist spots.

      Can just recommend for a momentary pause

      Charming ambiance, excellent dining, with a good dinner experience at the on-site restaurant and a cozy room that offered fine views of the mountains.

      The staff were fantastic and very welcoming of us and our two small children. The two owners introduced themselves to us the first night which was really nice and they were always around the hotel, making it feel more personal than a normal large chain hotel. The rooms have english speaking channels too which was a big plus. We had a really lovely stay.

      The child surcharge wasn't made clear to us when we booked the room

      The Superior Double Room with Eiger view was amazing! Super comfy bed, amazing views of the mountains, and just a really cozy vibe. Everything felt well-maintained and the decor was charming. The bathroom was modern and clean, a nice surprise. I could easily chill there for days. Loved it!

      Convenient to the train station. staff was very helpful.

      Menu was very small and required american plan at the time of our stay. (they closed for the season shortly after our stay.)

      Outstanding and accomodating staff. Food was outstanding both for breakfast and dinner. Very responsive to any request. Excellent location (near train station) in Grindwald.

      Fine views and really good service

      The staff were attentive, while the breakfast buffet offered everything we could hope for, from fresh pastries to delicious omelets. The only downside was the limited lunch options, which could be improved for a more flexible dining experience.

      All the staff are nice. Quiet environment and convinient place close to the station and the downtown of Grindelwald. Great mountain view facing Eiger North Wall.

      I could not understand why a jag of hot water(probably boiling portable water) was CHF5.
